but wait, there’s more…

Revisiting some familiar subjects as Cyanotypes on French Speckletone. In sequence, a massive Juniper at Ghost Ranch (I’ve both painted this and created several monotypes of the subject), an agave from a visit to Sedona, and a view from the top of  Chimney Rock Trail at Ghost Ranch (I’ve just completed an oil on canvas of this view). Each of these cyanotypes are planned to be part of a short run of multiple originals, once the weather warms up a bit.

Begun some experimentation with Cyanotypes. Filmless photography. Long exposure under the sun with a contact printed negative.

cold in my studio…

Have two paintings in a show in Albuquerque at the Popejoy Performance Hall through mid-January. For now I’m exploring a bit with fuzzy damaged images, and I’ve some prepared cyanotype paper coming next week. Hoping to eventually print the cyanotypes onto small canvases to make available as originals, and reproductions.
